Kae, our private chef, is a permanent member of this team — not an external chef brought in on request. They know the property, they know the island, and they are the same people who prepare the villa, assist guests and answer questions before and during the stay.
The result is a private, unscripted kind of service: present when you need it, invisible when you do not. For families, friends and multigenerational groups, this makes the stay feel more like being welcomed into a well-run private home than checking into a resort.

The team begins assisting before you land. They can help with airport transfer arrangements, answer questions about the house, suggest how many bedrooms suit your group, and note any dietary preferences or special occasions in advance.
By the time you arrive, the villa has been prepared: beds made, the pool and garden in order, the courtyard open and cool. You are greeted, shown the house, and then left to settle in at your own pace. There is no queue at reception, no set check-in ritual — just the house, ready for you.

Our permanent in-house chef also prepares lunches and dinners on request, charged separately from your stay.
Thai cooking is a natural part of the experience. The chef can prepare regional dishes adapted to your preferences: lighter for children, spicier for those who want it, vegetarian or allergen-aware where needed. What does it cost to have a private chef at a Koh Samui villa?
At Villa Aditi the private chef is a permanent member of Team Aditi, so there is no separate fee to bring a chef in. Daily breakfast is included in your stay. Lunches and dinners are charged at the cost of the food plus a fixed cooking fee per service, which Team Aditi confirms with you before anything is prepared.
What is the service like in a fully staffed Thai villa?
Quiet and personal. The same small team looks after the residence throughout your stay: daily housekeeping, breakfast prepared for your group, help with plans and arrangements, and care of the pool and gardens. Service adapts to your rhythm rather than to fixed hotel schedules.
Can the chef prepare a group dinner for up to twelve guests?
Yes. The chef can cook for the whole group in the open-air dining pavilion or by the beach. Menus are discussed in advance and can include Thai dishes, seafood, vegetarian options and meals adapted for children or dietary requirements.
Is the chef hired from outside when we ask?
No. The chef is part of the fixed in-house team at the villa, not an external chef called in on request. That continuity means the chef gets to know your group's tastes over the course of the stay.
